As this is a weekday, a school day, it may be challenging to find district bus transportation available at optimum times. If you anticipate sending a team to YES! and need transportation funding assistance, please apply for these limited funds as early as possible even though YES! registration has not yet opened (January 2025). Must be either a current PTGS program participant, a school which is expressing interest in the PTGS program, a Title I school, OR a school never previously represented at YES! You will be responsible for booking your own charter and arranging the details for the trip to/from YES!
Please apply to only one option below:
1) Pathways to Green Schools (PTGS), a Green Building United program for K-12 schools supported by Energize Delaware, is able to offer limited funding for transportation to the 2025 YES! (the Delaware Youth Environmental Summit) for Delaware high schools who are PTGS participants or who apply to become a PTGS participant. To take advantage of this opportunity, please complete the appropriate (and brief) PTGS application and choose the transportation option as one of your interests in the program. We will follow up with you then to request an invoice and W9 for the transportation cost from the provider. For any questions please contact Karen Igou at kigou@greenbuildingunited.org.
2) Delaware high schools which are Title I or have never previously been represented at YES! are eligible for a limited amount of funding to hire transportation to/from YES! Team advisors/educators from interested high schools can apply for this limited funding using this form ASAP, as funds will be first come, first serve while available.
